Esta entrada se quedó perdida entre idas y venidas. Es una traducción al inglés de una entrada privada de Maeda Atsuko en su blog, hablando acerca del cambio de formación en el grupo. La frase en negrita del productor es un gran resumen de la mayoría de cosas que nos gustan en la música pop. (Y sí, vilmente robado):

They announced a team shuffle at Budoukan

I've been thinking I have to write something about that
But I was giving it a lot of thought and this entry came about late
All of us were really unaware of anything and we got a huge shock

On the schedule we were given, it was written as "togasaki-san's speech"

We were all thinking if it was about the next concert. Frankly speaking, we were all excited about what was to be announced.

And because Takamina was called first, and she started bawling, I really started panicking

When Tomo and Mii-chan was announced into the other teams, I wondered... why?

Everyone was crying and hyperventilating and I was becoming really uncertain.

Is it really okay for everyone to be so scattered all over?

But afterwards, we received Akimoto-san's explanation and we were convinced.

"Now, while AKB48 is on the wave, let's try many things"

"But why are we still in Team A?" Both me and Takamina went to ask him.

Akimoto-san said "We can't change all at once. AKB is like paint, you have to try to mix them a little at a time. I felt that Itano, Minegishi and Yukari would be able to give off a better color that now. If I find a better color combination for Maeda and Takahashi, I would shuffle the both of you too."

Afterwards, I spoke to Takamina, Tomo and Minegishi (I wondered why she called her by the full name here? Staff's type error?)

"It's not like we are going to be seperated, let's try, we can always meet up anytime"

To be honest, I am really uncertain, I would have to work even harder than before to try my best to give off my own color

It would be a lie if I said I am not worried

But I love AKB!!I would love to receive more stimulation from the new members and do the same for them

And from October, I would work hard in the new Team A where Takamina will lead
